About Us

The Home Comfort Political Action Committee (PAC) is supported by America's heating fuel and home comfort providers. These often multi-generational family businesses ensure millions of American homes have access to reliable, safe, and affordable home heating solutions. They provide vital home comfort products and services, support local economies, and sustain countless rewarding careers in the trades. Many are innovating with new technologies and fuel options, including renewable fuels and high efficiency appliances and equipment to meet evolving consumer needs while enhancing energy reliability and security.

The Home Comfort PAC is a federal PAC connected to the National Energy & Fuels Institute (NEFI) and is supported by the generous contributions of its members. The Home Comfort PAC is not connected to any other trade association or political action committee and is non-partisan. The PAC supports candidates for federal office that share our goal of providing safe, reliable, affordable, and environmentally secure energy solutions to American consumers.

Mission Statement

The NEFI Home Comfort PAC exists to:

  1. Support candidates for federal office who recognize the importance of consumer choice in home heating and cooling solutions, understand the vital role of local home comfort providers in ensuring energy security and reliability, and support policies that allow these mostly small, family-owned businesses to thrive while serving their communities.

  2. Provide owners, executives, managers, professionals, and other stakeholders in the heating fuels and home comfort industries an opportunity to contribute to their future through active participation in the political process.
